I did an interview the other day, with a gentleman who spent forty-five years working on the railroad. He probably covered a million miles and still remembers steam engines. While chatting the other day he said, "there was nothing wrong with the Federal Government". The founding fathers did a heck of a job in designing this great nation.
The real problem is the five hundred and thirty five "conductors we hired who think they own the friggen railroad".

A combination of Politico, Huffington and crook bashing with a Brooklyn no-nonsense, no prisoners, attack on the blunders those idiots in Washington and the talk show entertainment shock jock media hope you will believe.

• PERFECTION BRACKETS -
I am working on a second plater to expedite the brackets so we can keep up with the sales. Thirty days out.
• NIKON SB-900 -
Meetings with vendor in Florida on the 20th to produce cables hopefully creating the perfect solution to the Nikon SB-900 mess.

We are now fully set up with SKYPE WORLDWIDE with VIDEO.

I suppose I will be twitting soon, just hoping I don't run into too many nit-twits.
• LATE PHONE CALLS -
I'm usually up late but I limit calls to 9PM EST. My phone is one digit in sequence away from a Psychiatrists office number.
It brings new meaning to the phrase "shrinking world".
NEW CAR OR NEW FLASH?
• LPA Designs one of the senior partners in the Pocket Wizard consortium has been forum fodder over the short range of the new FLEX series.
• The solution, offered by other sources can at best described as an add-on "condom" available in cloth and plastic for the 580EXii. There is also a 70 dollar upgrade for the 580EXii ( not Canon) to clear the RF problem electronically. What this will do to your Canon Warrantee will be another story.
• I backed off a little on this one because I like Pocket Wizards stuff but in the race to be technically the best, usually the worst shows up. Test the damn things before you take the people's money.
BLACK BOX'S SEEN AT THE OSCARS

• After a couple goof-ups by the boys at B&H, I got the cables, one day or so before the shooting started and FEDEX OVERNIGHT did the rest.
Both boxes arrived in time and were used at The Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night in Los Angeles.
FEATURED: ERIK KABIK :
• "I shot almost 4000 frames between the two boxes, non -stop for 7 hours and did not miss one shot!" 1.8 power all the way.
• I switched boxes halfway but the first had not even run out yet!
• AMAZING boxes!! I am blown away and will NEVER use that XXXXX pack again.

BLACK BOXES SEEN AT MAJOR FORENSIC LAB
Nice to know the Crime Busters can now shed some good light on the subject. Who says business is dead, they are testing my packs now, seems some of the others don't stay alive too long in the field and my prices are a lot better.
They liked the charge and run feature. My packs ran so long, the models claimed they were dead on their feet.
